Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Cruisin' Craig's uses on our website.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files websites store on your device to remember information between visits. "Similar technologies" include browser storage (sessionStorage, localStorage) that works like cookies.
What We Use
We use a minimal set of cookies and browser storage. We do NOT use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or analytics that profile individual visitors.
Essential (always on)
These are required for the website to function and cannot be disabled:
- Booking draft — lets you return to a partially-completed booking (stored in your browser's sessionStorage, cleared when you close the tab)
- Customer portal session — keeps you signed in after you click a magic-link in your email (stored as a cookie; expires after 90 days of inactivity)
- Stripe — fraud prevention and payment security during checkout (set by Stripe on their payment frames)
What we do NOT use
- Advertising cookies — we don't advertise, so we don't set advertising cookies
- Cross-site tracking — we don't track you across other websites
- Analytics that profile individuals — we use aggregate server logs only
- Social media pixels — no Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, etc.
- Third-party marketing trackers — none
Your Choices
Because we use only essential cookies, there's no "opt out of tracking" choice to make. You can:
- Clear cookies via your browser settings (this will sign you out of the portal)
- Block third-party cookies via your browser settings (this may break Stripe payments)
- Use private or incognito browsing — the site works fine in private mode
Third-Party Services
When you use our website, the following third parties may set their own cookies on their own embedded elements:
Changes
We'll update this page if we change what we use.
